Congratulations to KT Katherine “KT” Spencer, 12, of Lakeland became the top UKC Junior Obedience Handler in the nation during the prestigious United Kennel Club National Junior Invitational Competition in Kalamazoo, MI, last weekend (June 16, 2006). KT and her Australian Shepherd, Luke, achieved a score of 194.5 out of a possible 200. While in Kalamazoo, KT and Luke also competed in the UKC Premier Trials and won 1st place in their agility class in this national competition. KT and her other Australian Shepherd, Suede, earned one first and two second place awards in junior showmanship during the same trials. |
